How to paint transitions?

Hello, just bought a house and we are repainting. We are dealing with rounded walls and a relatively open concept layout. The current paint colors from the previous owners flow nice, but the transitions and lines are horrendous. We have chosen new colors but are unsure how to go about transitioning. Eventually I would like to box off the transitions with trim, but for now we are painting. These are photos from the previous owner:

1) Living Room- we are keeping this current color (Benjamin Moore Perfect Greige)

2) Living Room (other view)

3) Kitchen- painting Benjamin Moore Malton

4) Dining Room- painting Benjamin Moore Hale Navy

The foyer and upstairs/downstairs hallways are going to be Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. All trim will be changed from cream to glossy white. The darkest room will be the Dining Room, followed by the Living Room. I painted the hallway Revere Pewter already and painting the transition to the living room the same as the hallway (its a lighter color than living room). Thoughts?
