If you have to do gray, do the very very lightest tone you can find. Personally I wouldn’t do gray at all because your roof and bricks are in the tan/beige/cream color family.

The heavy overhang shades the front of the house so you need a very light color there. I’d do a cream.

I like the black door. Any plans to replace the windows? Black windows would look great.

it is hard to tell by your photos....the lighter looks better. I would choose a color from your bricks for the siding.

The windows are bronze. Don't have to go gray. Neither color really hits me. I have looked online but hard to find exact same brick, but the brick on this home is close and I think it looks great. Maybe I will try more samples

I like that blue/sage color of the siding in the link you posted. It looks much better than either of the grays with your brick.

I tried to use the SW Visualizer to test bluish colors but nothing seems to work so far. I also used the tool to paint the window crossbar and ends black to see if that looks better.

I know I can always get some tan creamy color out of the brick for a safe and I will say boring look. But was hoping to get more of a wow factor like the house in the link I showed earlier.

The colors need to be tested in your actual outdoor light anyway.

The house color you gave a link to above has the blue gray siding color in the rock (at least on the garage wall, the rock steps are different). Your brick color won't compliment that color siding like your inspiration photo shows, IMO. I'd go with a light gray/brown siding color or you could try a very muted green? And do paint the garage the same color as the siding color you choose. IMO

I went back to the basics and used a picture that showed most the house and just used the SW colorization tool and did Homberg Gray and Agreeable Gray just to get an idea of dark vs light. Also Painted the windows black and the garage door.

The problem is real life it does not look the same but maybe that is due to sample paint and 1 coat.

Neither really hit me as the right color, so I also tried Concord Bluff a tan color.

Do you like the lighter or darker? I think a grey/green would work with your brick. I like the last photo above.

I agree. You need a warm-ish shade that doesn't fight the roof and brick colors. Have you tried uploading a closeup of the brick on SW's site? The gray/green (sage) mentioned could also work with your roof/brick.

I also agree with painting the garage door the same as the siding. At some point you might think about a garage door with windows across the top.

I love the "Agreeable Gray". I've used it in a bathroom a makeover before and have many people reach out to ask which colour it was. I think you'll be happy with the light and brightness of it. Looks beautiful!

If you're thinking you'd like to go darker but need to stay warm, maybe something like Uber Umber or El Caramelo would work.

Today I physically, no SW Visualizer, a Tan / Beige Color. You might have to zoom in to see it. It is to the left side of the left window.

I think that colors goes best with the brick.

The Homberg I thought was Grey Greenish but I do not think it looks good.

This is just my personal opinion: although the tan/beige color works, it doesn't make the most of your home's style. I do like the green/gray/sage color for the inset and the garage door. I agree with you that the Homberg isn't exactly the right color. Have you thought about hiring a SW color specialist to help you? Some here on houzz have used them and have been very pleased. Check to see if one is available in your area.

I looked and there is no SW Consultant near me even though the city I live in has 1 M people.

I hired design consultants and 1 picked Homberg Gray and the other Agreeable Gray, which are the 1st 2 samples I used.

Tan / Beige can look pinkish, but I don't see gray in the brick.

Tried about every color on the SW visualizer tool, but the garage door is the only place the color comes out somewhat close being it is white and the siding is a light bluish color.

Below is where I tried Agreeable Gray, Anew Gray and Mega Greige in the visualizer tool. So just went up the palette line. I thought mega Greige did not look rght. Again you have to focus on the garage door.

I don't see gray in your brick either.

Any color you use in the visualizer tool is likely to look different on your home due to the sunlight and shadows. That's why the tool is good to narrow choices, but not to select a final choice without doing exactly what you are doing - trying the paint on your house or a large sample board to hold up to your house.

There are some posters here that are excellent at finding a good color for you to try. Groveraxle is one and there are others. You might try to contact them through houzz to see if you can get some help in finding the right color.

The sage green color I had in mind is more like in these photos. The second one is Benjamin Moore's Saybrook Sage. SW should have more. I could see these working with the rust tones in your brick and roof I see on my screen.

That color looks terrific chloebud. I think it would work on the OP's house. Agree that Lori Sawaya would be very helpful to the OP as well as Groveraxle and some others that are so talented with color.

Your bricks are a yellow tone. I would choose a mid to darker shade in your bricks. I would not use any blues or greens. It makes the bricks look too yellow.

Well I tried SW Clary Stage, which was about the closest SW match I saw. Maybe I am crazy but not a fan. Photo Below.

I would go with warm colors.

I agree that you need to stick with a warmer color, whether it be lighter or darker. The greens just don't work with your brick.

If green, them muted and warm, not sure it is best solution

Well, I like the greens with your roof but not so much the brick.

I know you mentioned "boring" to choose a color from the brick, but that might be what would please you most. Maybe spruce up the landscaping a bit and you'll be good to go.

I think you have to get a color that mimics the brick, otherwise it looks chopped up. Another option is to do the white of your trim on the siding.
