We are looking at rugs and our designer is recommending that we stay away from wool rugs for the breakfast nook area. She says that they are harder to clean and we should stick to synthetic. Same with the rug/runner for the foyer.

I've read conflicting things about this and a lot of folks are saying that wool rugs are easier to clean than artificial ones.
