Bob, you should just get a 1/4 scale train system setup with rails into your garage. Then with a good automated temperature system, they can automatically "choo choo" transport your plants out to their locations on rail cars and bring them back in when the weather turns towards winter. That might be too much of a crazy thing....

The work never seems to end. I have 3 trees to bring inside.

Steve, hobbies are great if they are challenging. For me citrus doing the way I am doing is challenging to say the least, that’s way I like it. It’s not the best way but good enough for me. A little investment, decent rewards, nothing more nothing less.

But you'd be the envy of all! And never have a back strain from moving plants again.

Oh how I wish I could take mine out Bob! I hate this time of year! Mine are looking so scraggly...leaf drop, whiteflies, etc. I am counting the days till spring! I hope they enjoy the sun.

I had my Fukushu/ C35 outside 25 days in January and 12 days so far in February this year.
The trash can light has to go over the fresh growth when the temperature drops below 30F on cloudy night or 36F on clear nights as it was predicted to drop to 29 with a clear sky last night. I bring it in when the temps fall below 27F.
