Which Oxalis species do you have?

Yes, they multiply and if you are moving them around the yard say on a shovel or a glove, and a small piece of the corm falls off, you may find a new Oxalis in that spot in years to come but can't remember ever planting it there.

I have two Oxalis - one is green with white flowers, the other is dark purple with light pink flowers.

This type of bulb doesn't seem to produce additional separate bulbs, at least in my case. Existing bulbs just keep getting longer and longer and longer. To get more individual plants, I carefully divide each bulb into several pieces - I twist along a joint until it snaps off cleanly. Then I plant them.

Wow! Super informative! mine don’t really multiply either so this makes much more sense to me!
