Breaskfast on Monday?

Marilyn_Sue

My breakfast this morning was something I have not had in some time, French Toast with apple butter, a sausage and grapefruit. What did you have today?

No breakfast for me today; I'm going out to lunch with a friend. The restaurant has a half sandwich and a cup of soup on the menu. I will probably have that.

Had one egg bite from Starbucks and a protein box from them. Shared the other egg bite with a coworker as there was too much food. Took 3 hours to eat it all as we have been super busy.

Seven almonds :-( but plenty of coffee :-))))

We're on one of our intermittent fast days, limiting ourselves to about 500 calories for the day. Tomorrow's breakfast is likely to be oatmeal with some fruit in it.

Sillica If I had any more of my ripe New Zealand lemonade fruits I would have eaten it so that this reporting to its consumption would make this thread citrus.

Friends invited us over for breakfast. Country ham, red eye gravy, grits . She also made a pastry . Not a regular breakfast for us. Hubby makes his homemade waffles , and I usually have coffee and an egg or oatmeal.

I was leaving a hotel, and unfortunately, there'd been a miscommunication between the hotel and the serving suppliers. So the only breakfast available was Continental. I ended up drinking some coffee and having some plain yogurt, as eating a high carb breakfast is akin to having a couple alcoholic drinks in my system - and I had 3.5 hours of drive ahead for me. Oh, without the enjoyment. That was breakfast, but better than the alternative.

I wake up slow and rarely want to eat in the morning. Breakfast food doesn't interest me. A cup of Darjeeling tea, some sugar and milk and a ginger biscotti.

My usual fruit salad topped with yogurt, half an English muffin and a cup of chicken noodle soup. An odd combo - hubby was feeling under the weather a few days ago, and now that he's his normal self, no longer wants to eat chicken soup. I figured I'd finish it off.

I made pancakes for my brother and me plus a friend visiting us here in Cathedral City. I got to use the new griddle that came with our new stove. I already had all the ingredients here, and so it was very easy. The recipe I make serves three, and so I did not have leftovers, like I usually do.

Don't you love not having breakfast leftovers? I don't mind leftovers from other meals, but for some reason, I don't like having leftovers from breakfast.

Ya'll are making me hungry. My doc has me on low carb diet, so all I had was a couple sausage patties. No bread, no jelly, no donut. Lol! Poor me. Lol. Lucky you.
