Wow on to mini's. I am often confused what hosta is a small and what is a mini. So here are the ones from my garden which I think are minis.

I haven't really gotten attached to minis . . . yet.

But I did plant a pot. Some of these will be small, but they're not there yet. I already posted them further along. Probably in F or C, so here they are just coming up.

My second try at minis in pots. I'm already skeptical they'll come back because I may have done what Ken tells us not to.... killed them with kindness! I have given them water when the soil is sooo cold. Yeah, I know, but they seemed so dry.... We'll soon see if they are alive.

adorable minis everyone..my spring fever is getting worse..lol

I got excited when I remembered I had one mini photo. My 6yo granddaughter and I made a fairy garden last summer and included Pandora’s Box. She actually asked me last week if we were going to work on the fairy garden again this summer. Her parents aren’t really into gardening, it’s cool she is interested.

peren.."unbridled joy" for sure!..she would never be a good liar..her true feelings are so obvious..I hate how my pics on my old Adroid turn fuzzy..I hope my newer phone does better..I moved pics from the old to new..maybe they degraded..I've read about this issue and haven't found a clear explanation..but I learned that this is not a unique problem..I've deleted a bunch of garden pics..I plan to go camera crazy this summer..

I had an 18" diameter ceramic pot of minis which I had to break down for moving purposes. The minis are now individually planted in fabric grow pots. But here is the ceramic pot before the move.

I could post all the hostas that look like minis in my garden, but y’all would call me on that. But for a little entertainment take a look at these two pics of Stiletto, one from the spring and one from the fall.

When I first started with hostas, I knew nothing of minis. My introduction to them (and now a bona fide obsession) started with a gift of several from a forum member. I blame him! But like peren.all, I say the more the merrier. They are easy to squeeze in. Well mine are! I think peren.all's may not be squeezed so easily. Here's a minibowl I made last year definitely was inspired by someone else here.

Minis are so cute I can't even stand it! I need more.

Wow, I am really enjoying all these minis. I really have a lot of so-called minis, smalls, etc. because I didn't have the space for bigger guys. My so-called mini, Appletini, exploded into a huge plant that I had to move out of the 18" minis pot and into a pot of its own.

Yes, vacation! Here’s an interesting use of bathroom components in a New Orleans garden, it’s spring here, the azaleas are blooming.

zkathy..New Orleans is such a fun place..I've only been once..6 days in March..3 years before Katrina..I would love to go again..I'd have a great time checking out all of the tropical plants..

Thanks girls! Some like Lemon Lime have been in my garden for decades. Lemon Frost & Cracker Crumbs grow quickly since they have been planted only about 7-8 years.

popmama just compost. Either homemade or mushroom. When I start a new bed I add approx. 5" then I don't have to worry about them for about for the next 5 years. I need to add a top dressing to some now. Well maybe not LL lol!

Kathy you could add sinks to your tub wall extending the theme. Thinking about it?Hope you continue to have a great vacation!
