Hi Lexi - what a great space! And you've got an interesting question - what all can you do with a bay window? Here are some quick thoughts to start brainstorming with:

• Flat decor - just use a mirror or series of mirrors to reflect the plentiful light. Or find a striking table runner that you like and display it.
• Any kind of collection might look good - groupings of baskets, lanterns with candles, or other baubles. However, objects that are too small will be overwhelmed by the window.
• Use it to display additional coffee table books, if you collect those. They'll probably get sun-faded, though!
• Use separate floor pillows for more texture and color, even if you don't want the seating.
• Display a few small-to-medium paintings or framed pieces on small easels or plate stands.
• Think symmetrical - two matching lamps of decent size at either end, or just two urns or vases.
• If you've got a green thumb, it would be a great place for an indoor garden!
• Or you could use it as a display stage for one truly striking sculpture. Something that makes your heart sing. Something in glass could be stunning in your window!
