I would never recommend a rug in a kitchen. That said, your rug should not be smaller than 10ft. in diameter.

I love my kitchen rugs but I do replace them annually. I like having a holiday rug and a summer rug. They protect my wood floors and make my velveteen dwarf grey rabbit happy.

Thanks. Great points from both of you. We have had rugs there before and have had to replace them. The dinette room is 11 ft across. A 10 ft rug would only be 6 inches from the door so it would definitely get soiled. I’ll try it for a bit without but I have a feeling I’ll struggle moving chairs across the wide grout lines. (Mediterranean tile). I welcome any additional thoughts. Your bunny sounds precious. 🐰
