Gosh, the warm pink of those roses really pops next to the cool blues and greens of that porcelain plate. But then the plate has just enough plummy and rusty color on it to pick up the colors of the roses. Gorgeous!

Just as lovely as you are, Ingrid! I’m glad you have some roses to enjoy. It makes each one all the more treasured, I would think. Let’s hope we get that rain today. I had a few fat drops around 6 pm last night, and expected it to be wet this morning. It’s still dry, but we may get a little rain today, yet! I hope so for the both of us. Lisa

Yes, the silvery pink rose is indeed SdlM. She's the workhorse in my garden, and what could be more beautiful. Lisa, we're so fortunate that it is indeed raining today, what a blessing after so many weeks with no rain in our "rainy season". May you all have beautiful roses in your gardens soon.
