If I recall correctly, The Galley ledge accessories that are 18" in depth do accommodate many other sinks, including Havens Metal ledge sinks. You'll need to check with Ruvati and Create Good Sinks specifically if you want to crossover. However, The Galley accessories are mostly designed to be turned 2 ways to fit both upper and lower ledges, so the lower-ledge side won't work for some sinks. Also, if you're talking about the bottom grate, that size can vary from sink to sink.

My real question here would be why you'd want to spend money on The Galley accessories that are in my opinion overpriced when you could order sink accessories that go with the brand of sink you've chosen. I've visited The Galley showroom in Bixby, Oklahoma, and one of my main impressions coming away was how flimsy and cheap the accessories seemed comparable to the price of those sinks. Most of the bowls are just OXO bowls, and the strainers and other items aren't tailored to the area like Havens Metal, Rachiele, and a few others, where you're getting complete use of the square area.

The one exception would be those blackboard-type inserts from The Galley. I haven't seen that material anywhere else, and it's very nice. You can even write on them with chalk and then erase for labeling foods set out for serving. The wood cutting boards that The Galley produces, some of them are super thick and heavy, so much that you wouldn't want to move them to storage too often once you had them set out. They are also so tall that they lift the cutting area above the surrounding countertop. This can be a boon in that you don't cut into the counter, but what I think it mainly does is fail to contain the mess in the sink and rather allow it to spill out on the counter which is the opposite of what this system was designed to help you do: contain the mess.

Have you looked into Havens Metal sinks? I did months of research and ended up with one of their ledge workstation sinks. It was a bit cheaper than The Galley, and I chose it both because I liked their accessories better than The Galley and also because they offered a textured finish called "Prestige" that helps hide water spots and scratches. They also offered an apron front, which I wanted for ergonomic issues, and The Galley charges about $1,000 USD extra to add an apron front.

This discussion is as close as I’ve come to hearing opinions about the galley accessories. I’m very curious about the black cutting board / staging area and top covers for the sinks. They are described as made of a wood / composite. I am curious about how they hold up over time and if folks agree with the opinion from Silverlined shown that they are flimsy and cheap.

The Galley's black cutting boards and accessory surrounds are very nice and do not look cheap at all. It is rather the bowls and strainers which are unimpressive. Were this a lower-priced sink system, no one would complain, but it is one of the most expensive kitchen sinks on the market yet doesn't compare favorably to the quality and design of competitors for the bowls and strainers, specifically. If you planned to use The Galley primarily as a serving buffet station and the price weren't an issue, then I do think it would be an excellent option because the serving accessories options are so extensive. Bentwood Kitchens, Harmoni Kitchens, and I think Jay Rambo all produce sink bases that are designed to hold all The Galley accessories if you were looking at new cabinetry as well. I would highly recommend not going any smaller than the 5-foot length in The Galley if you want the full experience of that particular sink system. It's a large enough purchase that you should try to see it in person if you can. Also, since I wrote that previous review, I have seen the black chalkboard-style cutting boards just like The Galley's in several kitchen supply stores, so it is a concept that is being used elsewhere in the kitchen accessories market.
