How can I fix a backsplash mistake?

New quartz countertops, white with bits of beige, but more toffee beige. New glass tile backsplash, but the color tends more gray than beige. It just isn't the color I thought it was. White cabinets. Must I have the tile removed and start over? Could more tile be installed on top of it? How bad would peel & stick be? Could peel & stick go on top of my tile? My mistake, do I have any options?

By the way, the photo is only one small area. The countertop & back spash are several feet long on both sides of my kitchen

You cabinets appear green on my monitor. Turn off the under cabinet lighting and take another picture. The only way to fix the problem (if there is one) is to rip it out and start again. No you can't tile over it and you are not going to add peel and stick. Post another photo (maybe in the am when you don't have to use the under cabinet lights.

Color can be very deceptive in photos and monitors. Your photo looks fine to me. But no way to know if what I see is anything like the in person colors.

For me, no tile is so ugly that it would be improved be a layer of peel and stick over it. I’d rather have the worlds ugliest tile Than that mess :). And your tile dies not appear to be hideous at all. It looks nice maybe except for the color I’d live with it and see for a bit.

It looks fine to me. Can you take a photo from further back and in daylight?

And certainly no to tiling over or peel and stick.

The issue is only the color.

The tile looks great. Consider repainting the walls.

Take a tile to the paint store to get a match, then pick a lighter tone of that match to paint the walls. Good luck; it’s beautiful!

It looks great! My first thought was also to paint the walls a different color. Less tan/beige and a little more greige.

I like it it gives some releif from all the white and absolutely no peel and stick on what appears to be a nice tile job.

    It looks great!
Your lighting might be influencing you. Are your bulbs cool white or warm? Try different bulb/colors and see if that helps.

I agree that the tile works 100%. looks great. I also agree you may want to reconsider the wall color though, but would need to see a wider view of the room. you did a great job with the renovation.

Another vote for painting the walls and changing the light bulbs. It looks lovely, and yes, it break up the white nicely. Your walls are throwing off your eyes.

IMO it looks lovely...very fresh feel. As said already, paint the walls, they have a yellow hue and this highlights grey tile more. Tone down walls, see what colours go to make up the paint and stay away from yellow hue. Soft shade String F&B, or Dulux Diamond's Rum Caramel 5...with white cupboards and skirting you'll have plenty of suttle contrast!!

The issue is not the tile, but too many whites. Your whites are all different. Try taking them away and try a contrast colour. You have an in lance between blue based and yellow based colours. Too pull off an all white kitchen all has to have the same base. You need some points of interest on the bench. White accessories will jar. If you want to be ‘neutral’ try stainless steel, or powder blue.

Beautiful! As others have said, you just need to repaint. Eliminate the yellow.

Thank you everyone for your comments, suggestions & compliments. FYI, all of my kitchen lights are warm, as white lights made the tile even more gray. I will be going to the paint store!!
