Have you tried using the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner?

I keep a couple of little one gal shop vacs, one at each end of the house. I have an assortment of attachments for them including brushes which I can wash, have a clean brush ready to go. Corners, lamp shades, bookshelves, door frames, lots of uses. Can be found for between $20 - $30.

Use a lint roller for clothes that should pick up the little bits.
