Why do you think you need an 80" buffet? Are you showing the table fully extended at 54"? With a longer table, you'll want to change your light fixture to something linear &/or larger hung 30-36" above the table. Art should hang just above furniture pieces (about 5-7") or should be centered 5' above the floor. Once you add a large piece of art over the buffet and a new chandelier, you'll not be too concerned about the big wall. You can stretch art past the buffet if you think it helps. I like art to be no wider than 75% of the furniture beneath it.

The table extends to 72” and a 2nd leaf to 90”.

I don’t think I need a 80” buffet. The one that “goes” with the table is only 54” which does seem small. Is 54” too small?

I would want to see the table extended. If the table has an apron under the table top all around, then the leaves should replicate that so it doesn' t look "snaggle toothed" when extended. You might consider a custom floating buffet like the one in my pic 2 above if you're sure you need it to be longer. Covering the wall will take art, not a buffet. Get the table in, extend it and take new pix. I would leave it in the extended position and fit a rug under it full length.

Both your current set and your future set look uncomfortable to sit at. What are you gaining by changing out the furniture? As deco said, look for a standard height set.

why the pub table? it adds nothing to the look. if you want a larger table, do one that opens into a rectangle. and you need to turn the table the other direction.

to get the most bang for you buck, I'd do a settee, or a builtin bench seating, or even a bench, against that far wall. on the end you could do a tower instead of having a buffet.

if you don't want to go that route, then I'd do a table like any of these
