Judith, I forgot some seeds in my fridge for a year or more. I planted them and up they came.

I agree with Brad. You have a very good chance of getting decent germination.

One suggestion, though. Don't throw seeds away that don't sprout in the water (as long as they are not molded or soft). I used to pre-sprout my seeds (now I just put them in water in the refrigerator for about 4 days and then plant whether sprouted or not--seems to speed up the process). I had some seeds that had been in the water for 4 weeks but not a one had sprouted. They still looked good though. I hated to throw them away so I planted them and almost all of them sprouted very quickly.

I am seeing several seeds from 2018 barely start a tiny radicle! Since being in the water/peroxide solution, they have plumped up, so I have hopes that a few of each cross will make it! So excited! Thanks for your comments!

I had some seeds that I forgot about in the freezer for a couple of years and they still grew! So you just have to try! Let us know!

Will do - I have tiny radicles showing in 5 of my little plastic packages from 2018! Not much showing but its just been 2 days so am hopeful! I will put my sprouted seeds between cotton pads soaked in the peroxide/distilled water mix in little plastic baggies and put them on a windowsill - they grow fast like this then I pot them up. The seeds just looked so shriveled that I figured they werent good so am hopeful!
