Oh, my! That is going to be hard to do and would likely require some type of professional treatment of some sort. Maybe one of those technologies that is used after a house fire will be of use. But, in this case it is probably a matter of it being infused so deeply into the fibers and therefore much different from that caused by a one time house fire.

Insulation, like fabric, will retain a lot of the odor. If you have exposed insulation you might want to remove and replace it. A few pounds of baking soda might help, too. I have used a smoke odor eliminator spray, Zep brand I believe, on surfaces after electrical fires to good effect.
