Shutter Recommendations?

We're excited about an exterior remodel of our home, and we'd appreciate your ideas on what kinds of exterior shutters to add. We think shutters will be a great embellishment to the home.

Timberlane; I know you'll have great advice and incredible products!

On the back of the house, we'd like to do some Bermuda Shutters. These will shade a few windows that get hammered by the sun in the afternoon.

On the second floor in front, we'll do some normal shutters. Because we're using Bermuda (louvered) shutters, must/should we use louvered on the other windows? And must the lower floor shutters be louvered as well?

We'd like the shutters to be "working" with all the right hardware. But what do we do about the lower, huge picture windows? What do you do in a situation where there isn't enough adjacent room to fit a full shutter? I supposed we're simply doing undersized, faux shutters, or none at all?

Will folks ever put up Bermuda-style shutters tied up to the underside of a porch or roof?

Sincere thanks...
