Remarkable Landscape Solution

In my daily travels I see a lot of landscape work from really lousy to wonderfully enchanting. On rare occasions I see something genuinely remarkable and say to myself, "Self, that's pretty doggone sharp. Take note!"

The shots below are from Barrington Hills, Illinois and apparently part of an easement created when a horse farm was subdivided into large residential parcels. The landscape response here (4-5 tons of granite boulders) modified an insignificant arroyo into a clever water feature easily visible on a drive-by. What makes it remarkable is that it's a low-impact solution that yields a high-impact result and looks almost as if Nature did the work. I thought it was worth sharing and wish I could credit the author of this poem but, alas, they remain anonymous. Hope you enjoy!
