It's hard to tell from the photo, but the tiles look like the exact same color as the counter top material. And they do not appear white, but beige.

Is that the new countertop or old? From the photo you posted, it appears gray and cold whereas the color of the tile is beige? Are you going for cool colors or warm colors-to match the rest of the room-floor and cabinets?

Seems like not much contrast between counters and backsplash—if you have white cabinets I would go with more visual interest.

The countertop and tile read creamy on my monitor too. Can you post the three together in one photo - cabinet, countertop and backsplash tile?

I had this same question for some of my clients. They like everything to match, I’ve convinced them to choose a darker back splash for more contrast.

The photo is in natural light no flash, but my kitchen doesn’t get any direct sunlight. The countertops are slightly off white, not cream though - no yellow undertone. The cloe tile varies from off white to grey... I will post some pics of the cloe tile installed from other sources. The pewter grout is def significantly a darker hue than the counters- I would say a medium tone compared to a light = a little contrast. Ultimately I think BM white dove is a closer match. but also relates better than SW Pure White even though more contrast might be nice. I do believe in person everything relates well as far as undertone agreement/ not mixing warm beige with cool grey etc. My main concern is that a low contrast kitchen will look poorly designed, not that I’ve chosen the wrong undertones (even though I agree the pics don’t necessarily support my statement) here are some additional pics 😀

I am considering the Cloe tile in white as well. The first pic you posted looks like the Cloe in Creme, but the more recent pic looks like the White. Surely just the lighting and reflection. As with any tile, your installer would need to mix tiles from different boxes and lots to ensure you are blending any variations between lots.

I would suggest you wait until you get your counters in first before you settle on your tile. Fine to get some samples, but I'd hold off purchasing until you see the counters installed. Quartz counter samples can appear one way and then look entirely different once you are looking at a large slab in your kitchen. You might see your counters on your cabinets and then decide to go in a different direction with the backsplash. Good luck!

I also just ordered the Cloe Tile for my back splash. I'm a bit concerned for the grey tone. I still want the back splash to feel white. I jumped on here hoping for some photos of non-filtered kitchens.

Would love to see how the project turned out! Did you end up going with the Cloe white tile?

I'm considering the Bredosians Cloe white tile for backsplash as well. Would love to see the finished look of your kitchen!
