Need advice on master bath remodel

We have a 1960 "master" bathroom (typical 1960's small size) that we are going to gut so we can bring it in to this decade. I'd like to keep the tub and toilet plumbing in the same locations since it's on a slab and we're trying to keep costs down - my mind can be changed on this. The contractor says we have 9" to move the sinks left or right. The pocket door and wall in the pictures will be torn out to open up the vanity area and bath area. Also, the soffit's will be removed. I want a nice vanity with a double sink and a makeup vanity section in the center. My concern is that when we open up the area and remove the small single vanity, there will be a awkward gap between the toilet and the new double vanity - even though the new one will be longer than the one that's in there. I'd like to keep the wall of cabinets/drawers that you see on the left, replacing the doors. What do you think is the longest vanity I can go with without it looking odd. Also, what could fill the gap between the toilet and new vanity? The diagram is the current configuration, the pretty vanity is one I'd like to mimic. Thanks so much for your suggestions.

Sorry for my typos, I can’t edit from my phone. 10 feet or so - 7.5’ vanity and a 2.5’ linen cabinet at the end to create visual separation from toilet

I think you could probably get away with keeping the vanity the same length as the two combined. That would be about 8- 8.5 ft long. If you want to make it a little shorter you could keep it looking normal by putting something like a narrow hanging plant on the wall between the toilet and vanity.

Would you consider moving the wall down to be next to the toilet, creating some visual privacy? Let you vanity end at the wall. Sneak in a tall pantry closet there if you can

I never thought about a wall there. A full wall or maybe a low one like you see in some hotels? Thanks.

I'm not sure if I should repost this thread, but we were delayed by COVID and are now booked for the remodel next month. One more question! Should I go ahead and tear out the cabinets that are on the wall opposite the long vanity so I'll have that space to maybe add a separate bathtub? I'm not a bath person, but maybe it would make sense for resale down the road? You can see the cabinets/drawers in the reflection of the mirror on the 3rd picture down. I just don't know if that makes sense in a bathroom that small.....I'm very design challenged. We have three full bathrooms, two have been remodeled (one with a walk in shower and the 2nd one with a tub/shower). Thanks again!

Since you already have a tub elsewhere, you don't need it. So I wouldn't spend the money on it since you said you won't use it.
