Is micro cement floors ok to do for an outside pool patio floor?

Micro-toppings have been around at least 20 years. The floor requires proper prep (usually grinding) and then the micro...by an expert. The process can result in an unbelievable variety of looks, but be prepared to pay big bucks per square foot.

Microcement is also a "Green" solution, in most of the cases, when applying microcement in floor or walls you do not requiere to remove the existing materials, since it can be install on top of almost anything; drywall, tile, marmol, concrete slab etc, so you reduce your installation time, your cost and also create less trash, so in a way is a "Greener" solution, and less expensive.

arkvillager: I know it's been 4 years since you wrote about the coating in your carport, so I don't know you'll see my comment written in 2021... But I'm very interested to see some photographs of what you describe. "unusual but also practical and good looking" I'm so intrigued! I've just found out about microcement, and want to know more about it, including the durability. Or anyone else with a similar project, can you share your experience and some pics please?
