Full Wall mirror

I am renovating a small bathroom. I love the full wall mirror, made to fit with cut out for sconces.

Who has done this? I think it will enhance the size and add depth.

An interior decorator looking for our input??? Doesn't make sense.

I love full-wall mirrors. For this wide single sink, I would have the sconces a little closer to the ends of the sink so that the person in the mirror is better lit from both sides. If there are two sinks, I would use two above-the-sink sconces or three narrower lights left, center and right. Ceiling lights placed to reflect additional light on head and face are a must.

I agree felizlady! Thank you. It's always good for a Pro to get advice. Always learning....

So many angles- took two trips for the mirrors as they didn't want to measure some of the pieces until the larger pieces were installed

This was a lovely coastal bath- when we started it was twice this size with a sitting area in the middle? So odd...

It's not difficult provided there is careful location of the electrical boxes. The mirror guys do this all the time for wall outlets.

I have a very large/long mirror with 4 sconces. I let the glass people and the electric people work it all out together with my input on where I wanted the lights. Came out great!

We have a full wall mirror over our vanity in master en-suite. It’s great and makes the room feel very tall.

I love the look of a giant mirror in the bathroom! Practical advice: keep the bottom of the mirror a few inches above the sink handles.

Our faucet is 12" tall with the handle at the top, and the mirror tucks down behind it. it always gets splashed unless I move as slow as a snail. it needs a higher up mirror, or an under counter sink with low handles. major design mistake that annoys me every day. don't make the same mistake in your bath!

Fuzzyguy those look so sexy- but what about the toothpaste? I mean I clean my mirrors but this would make me neurotic! (But boy they look good)

I usually use at least a 6” splash, sometimes 12”.

I love full-wall mirrors. They make the room look larger, and they give you a better view of your whole self. I have no idea why people want to go with small mirrors these days -- not nearly as functional.

As for cut-outs for sconces, I'm sure a pro could easily do it. If you're DIYing or nervous about it, consider pendants instead. Or, if your vanity isn't too wide, sconces mounted on the side walls.

I like your inspiration picture, but I'd like it better if the mirror came down further. Perhaps I think this because I'm very short, so I like a lower mirror. I like being able to stand back a step /see more of my outfit.

We also have a full-wall mirror in our bathroom. Three sconces hang in the middle from above. I can’t run into when the light is on the side. But to wipe it ... at such moments I remember how good it's to have a small mirror)
