Remember, Arkansas is the natural state, the poorest state in the nation, bought 3 lakeside lots at 9. Each. House is built for less than 200 g’s. Lots are 1 1/2 acres each. Cheap, cheap, only use one lot. House is 3200 sq, way to big for the two of us.

Bob that reminds me when I was a kid and use to visit my uncle who’s backyard was the Red River in Grandforks that divided ND and Minnesota. I use to fish there every summer and he had 20 acres he farmed .

More fruit trees in bloom, mostly peach, pear and pluots, paw paws starting to bloom, lots of them down the hill.

Hey Bob my son in law and daughter are now home schooling my grandchildren and as a project converted my garden bench into a chicken coop. I now have 3 hens. we cannot find eggs anywhere so we improvised 😎

Nick, funny you should should mention that because I am coming real close to doing the same with the empty area in my garage even though there is probably a law against that. I always loved fresh eggs. Looking good there. Animals to keep everyone occupied for sure. Watch out for wild animals..

Mike thanks for the input and I have them well protected so nothing can get into their coop. The only way in is penetrating the chicken wire.
