Looking at the 10 day forecast, looking good for me. ProjectEd date, April 15. On that date the subtropicals are going to their summercamp till November.

Bob I am 650 feet away from zone 6b. If April 15th gives me a good 15 day forecast I can set my trees outside for the summer. My potted trees are already outside for the summer but will have to come in for 2 nights and 1 day coming Friday night through Sunday morning. The forecast shows safe after though early april.

Mine have been out for a week and a half. I freaked out a little bit because initially the forecast looked cold on Saturday, but now the low is supposed to be 39. That is fine. They will not like it, but I think they prefer the cold to the parrots ;)

39 is,t bad for citrus. Laura next December try the Low Biuret treatment on your citrus tree’s, it will start a massive bloom, than heavy fruiting, than larger fruits, all with a total of 3 sprays.

From the way things are looking for me, lucky me, I get to see snow on Monday. The whole winter no snow and warm and now when it is suppose to warm up, it gets cold. Mine will be in for quite some time again and my fig tree that survived the winter, it will loose it's just starting to grow buds to the cold once again. I can't win here.( When things warm up too early, things grow then freeze to death by the cold that should of came in winter.

Of course tomorrow will be 25 degrees cooler than today with a low of 31...... Guess I'll wait a bit longer to take them outside!

Mike, a couple of weeks don’t mean a hill of beans, your tree’s are adjusting to your zone. It all comes out the same. The race to who have their trees out don’t change nothing. As long you have been on forums, nothing change. You just accumulate more stuff. Get rid of some to balance out, just ask Brian, the mystery kid from up north, it be nice if he kick in every now and than. It’s not like him this time not to chime in. Hope he is alright.

Bob, true that. You are right. I just have to wait a couple more weeks and I might have to bring my trees in at night every so often at least until the middle of May, since the last frost date in my area ia Memorial Day. By the way, the virus has doubled over night and now I am almost alone here at work. I am really hoping they close down since every time I am here at work, I am at risk. Pray we all make it through ok. Yes, I miss Brian and I wonder if he is ok too.

Some how I lost his e-mail and we were keeping in touch a lot. Hopefully I will here from him again soon.
