mini split question

I live in northern New Jersey and Im in the middle of finishing my basement and have a dilemma abour HVAC. The basement consists of a 400sqft open living area and a small 180sqft office on the other side. I have decided to put a mini split in the living area but unsure of what to do with the small office. I thought about buying a multizone mini split and having 1 unit in the living room and another in the office but that seems its too much for such a small space. My other option was to buy a mini split for living area and add for the office I would tap into the main forced air HVAC and add one register and return. I know adding registers can throw the balance off for the unit but do you think it'll be that detrimental if its only heating such a small space. I basement is still down to the studs so I have options. Anyone have any suggestions?
