Just a quick trip to Maplestone Ornamentals.

So just before the world went crazy with quarantine, I managed to take my annual pilgrimage to Maplestone Ornamentals. It's only a 2 hour drive, so not really much of a pilgrimage. I started with a simple 3 plant online order to pick-up: Akane, Ikandi and Watnong. I mentioned I was also looking for Mayday and he mentioned he might have one. OK, so four plants, but I have the perfect (I hope) spot for Emmett's Pumpkin, so I better add that one too. This is the earliest I've ever gone there, so wasn't sure what to expect. I was thinking I could get dormant plants and get them in the ground and not worry about frost or freezes. But dormant plants aren't nearly as much fun. Not to worry, plenty to drool over, Kasagi Yama
