Does anyone have any ideas or options for 3/4 inch square black iron stair baluster shoes that are not the bulky, large, Tuscan-looking, typical option shown in the post? It would be great to have a nice, sleek, more modern option for a wood staircase when adding metal balusters. I would like loved to not use shoes/covers for the balusters, but the holes have been drilled, which are round. The iron balusters are square and I do not think I can use stainable wood putty to fill the margins properly for a good look. Thanks for any help you may have.
