I don't think the design works well with your home. It is a more modern look.

Personally, I would not have garage doors with windows that someone could look in and see your stuff or if you are home. I love the MCM doors you posted, so at least get frosted glass.

Who knows, but I agree that they don't go with the style of your home.

I have been thinking the same things which is why I posted, trying to get my husband on board. hesitant for wood doors as we face south in the brutal phoenix sun

and yes, we were going to do frosted glass if went that way.

BTW, the canterra fountain in front is going and the lighting is going to be contemporary so we are doing what we can to edge to a more updated look but I do appreciate your input that the style of the house is not contemporary.

They are great-looking modern garage doors which will clash terribly with the roof of your home even if you put matching roofing over the garages.

I’m looking into garage doors for a mediterranean house myself, and have found many unique doors that are still consistent with your/my style house.

Katie B is right. Her choices are more in line with a Mediterranean house, which your roof will dictate. I appreciate trying to tone it down a bit, but clashing styles is not a great look.

Most of the others are real wood, but I’m sure you can find them in faux wood.

as stated, that first door is too modern for your spanish/mediterranean style. you need a spanish style door. (and yes, they make a faux wood) like this one

you could also have them painted in a color to go w/your home. Some of these are painted in a mossy green or black or adobe color

just contact a good garage door company in your area

don't forget the spanish style exterior lighting too

For me it would not only cause a privacy issue but a security issue too. Those windows look large enough for someone to break and enter through. I suppose a lot of people have security systems now but even so.
