If she likes those colours then just copy them.

I think picking the specific colours will be one of the funnest parts of the project. I would take her to your favourite paint store and let her collect a fistful of colour chips. Take them home, Look at them under different lights. Arrange them together. Re-arrange them again. And pick the ones she likes the most. I don't think perfection is necessary - just something she likes.

Kids rooms are where you really get to experiment and break the rules. Paint can be painted over again.

You can get the app for BM and SW and look at all the colors right at home! Try to pick colors that are close in LRV range. This will keep your wall from looking disjointed. If you pick one color that is much darker another that is too light the wall can look busy. If you look at your inspiration photo and squint you will notice that the colors blend. They are all the same intensity. This is what makes it work. If using BM you want to go to the preview collection.

This is from the SW app. It may be helpful to imagine picking colors in a certain range when seen this way! You can choose them from here and then go to the store and get the color cards. The LRV info will be on the back. Doing it this way may not be as much fun but it will make it easier in the long run.

The SW computer came up with these colors, but they are a bit off.

Those are programs are close but it’s impossible to get an exact match. The lighting and reflections throw it off and honestly, in real life those colors probably look a lot different! Doesn’t matter of course, you are liking what you are seeing;)!

You can see from Beverly’s chart though that all these colors are of similar value. That is what is important in pulling off this look!
