I doubt your repair will hold up much longer than the original, but who knows. You would need to remove all your personal items from the shower to prep for the repair people arriving. I've not heard of this particular product, but if you're wanting a no-hassle surface you might look at something more durable like Onyx Collection.

Vikrell is a laminated acrylic product. For it to de laminate, you’ve got undiagnosed issues behind the wall. Either an incorrect initial install, leaking valve, wrong insulation and vapor sealing, roof leak, or some other type of leak. Water on the back side is the only way it delaminates. A topical bandaid on the front side is useless. You’ve got to do some demolition and sleuthing here.

Vikarell by Sterling is a solid vs coated fiberglass. The delamination, or porosity, results from the mold not being perfectly prepped. Maybe it started with air bubbles or grit. I just wondered if there have been good or bad experiences with a warranty remedy.
