I believe Flight of the Raven was Richard's first introduction.

Mary's Baby has excellent color, but it's really hard to catch the color correctly in a photo.

We have gotten some nice babies out of Mitch Lynd.

Quiet Wyatt is an excellent example of an edge no eye daylily.

Sam Abel is one of Richard's best daylilies.

I'd love to add Daniel Howard Norris at some point. I saw a clump of it blooming last summer, and it was magnificent.

Empire of Desire is an excellent performer and multiplier here.

Mary's Baby was new here last year and got attacked pretty bad by slugs. I hope it will do better this year.

Coral Majority always puts on a show in the late season.

I used to grow Mary Lightfine. It was a wonderful late. Unfortunately I lost it one winter in a pot. I'd love to acquire it again.

Coral Majority is one of our top performers here. Empire of Desire is one we don't have. I like the sculpting on it.

I think I've made it clear by now how I love, LOVE, Mary's Baby. It just does so well...... I have Coral Majority too and it's a nice one........I've tossed Marietta Warrior and Daniel Howard Norris back and forth on my long list for years as they look similar. Maybe one day.....Ashwood Rings of Saturn is so pretty with that subtle pattern....I was interested to see that Oakes now carries Richard's color changer 'Pigment of the Imagination'. I've heard that its overall performance would not be to my liking, but still that one stage of coloration it gets intrigues me.........If I had room I'd try more of Norris's hybrids that's for sure.......Maryl

Maryl, your Mary’s Baby photos are always gorgeous! I have Sam Abell, Coral Majority, and Remembered Kisses. I would like to have But Wait, There’s More and Empire of Desire. And maybe Daniel Howard Norris! Those are on a “maybe” list I have. But wow on Ashwood Inferno!

I grow several of Richard Norris cultivars. Initially I added them not really knowing who Richard Norris or his cultivars were . I just liked the looks of the plants . However after adding a few I came to really love the way his dayliies perform here. I have never been disappointed in any of his cultivars that I have grown here.

I grow Mary Lightfine ( same issue with image as mentioned above) I added Ashwood Plum Crrazy last season so anxious to see it bloom this year and I am excited to add Belief in Vein to my gardens this year.

I forgot to add my new one from last year, Purple Passion's Promise.

I also have Coral Majority but never can quite get a good pic of it. The other Norris I have is EVIDENCE OF ALIENS. It has always made me smile since it looks, when fully recurved, like it went through a wind tunnel.

Maryl - I don't know about the sun/heat tolerance on Purple Passion's Promise. We had an unusually cool summer last year, and it's planted where it gets shade most of the afternoon.

I really should pay more attention to hybridizers. I realize now that I have a few Norris daylilies, and they are all among the best performing plants, multiply and bloom well. Mine have all been shown already. Sam Abell is one I have thought of adding, this makes me want it even more

Remembered Kisses and Sam Abell are my two favorites from Richard. I named Pigment of Imagination.

Pigment of Imagination is a great name. We just got it last year and I can't wait to see it bloom this season.

As far as I know this is the only one I have, Coral Majority.
