i might give it another month or so.. see if it sprouts any higher.. but sooner or later.. you will know where the live part end.. and the dead part starts.. and you can just SNIP it off ...

when it come time to repot.. you can probably find a better media mix for this type of plant ..

btw.. what did you figure out the problem was ... too much love.. i meant too much water?? .. if so.. thats the media issue in a nutshell ...

there should never be any hesitation on removing dead part of plants ... once you are sure its dead.. or are just tired of looking at it ...

it should releader itself ... and then you can do more pruning.. to shape it into form ... but dont be in a hurry with that.. let its leaves feed the roots ... to get over the previous stresses ...

it probably wouldnt hurt to be outside for summer ... in full bright shade .. dont take this indoor plant straight outside into sunshine or you will burn the leaves ...

The problem was overwatering. It’s been growing again for probably 3 months, so I think it’s time to snip the top
