"Hostage Situation" quilt finish - Installment 5

How is everyone holding up? I took a short break from quilting and have my kitchen, living room, and hallway painted. Still need to do the dining room. I also made 24 masks for a group here "Masks Now" that will go to a nursing home. Yesterday I sandwiched and quilted the "Shooting Stars" block lotto blocks. I got the binding on this morning. It is 48" x 60". Now to decide which top to sandwich next!

    66 masks this week and only enough elastic for ten more. That will be for tomorrow,

      Very nice. You're way too quick. I have half a dozen masks made, and another couple dozen cut out.

      Nice quilt. I have made about 25 masks for my cousin's employees. And of course, some for myself too.

      Wow, Sue, you are the Energizer Bunny! I love that quilt!

      I started knitting a cardigan a couple of days ago. It’s worked from the top down in one piece. So far it’s going well! Today I’ve been working on the center block of the KS kit I started a few weeks ago.

      I haven’t made any masks yet. I keep seeing such conflicting information about them! I do have about 8 yards of 1/4” elastic, so I should make some.

      I've been working on masks today. I'm going to deliver some to friends shortly. Then I may take a break and quilt.

      I came across a picture of my lotto blocks for this quilt and thought, "I love how these look, I need to make a quilt like this." And I was right, it looks great! Another one for my list.

      I used pipe cleaners in my masks for the wire.

      Thanks, everyone. DS called and asked if I could make a bunch of masks for them and their friend who has a small business for their employees. I am waiting for elastic to come in, but can make some with ties.

      I made about 35 masks over the weekend for coworkers, family, friends. I'm going to take a break from my machine for a few days. Was really pushing to get them done before I went back to work today...lower back kinda aches :-(

      Love it, and that pattern is so similar to the last one I posted, Indian Hatchet. The only difference is the width of the middle strip in each block looks wider.

      I took 60 masks over to the nursing home yesterday. I thought I was finished but I found another pack of elastic at the back of the draWer and now I have enough for another two dozen. After my afternoon rest, I shall have at it.

      I am thinking these masks are not for medical folks, so the wire isn't as necessary. And anyway, I don't have anything I could use.
