That’s a very bossy counter. Is the rest of your house the cold grays and busy patterns, that it fits? Or is it forcing you to change your entire home into that look? That’s past it’s prime. Don't pick individual one off things that don’t work in the design of the whole home.

First make sure your lighting is right LEDs in 4000K are what you need especially when working with whites so change the bulbs then compare.I do not agree that grays are no longer wanted IMO if you like color colors , as I do , grays are perfect and will always be around. This needs to be decided in your home not at the stone yard if at all possible . If they let you go outside then at least you are getting the colors that those LEDs I mentioned are closer to.So you want to be doing this on a sunny day.I find White Dove has a bit of a gray undertone and should work well with the counters IMO.

I do agree that a kitchen is part of an overall home color scheme.I love the counter but I would prefer no arch in the cabinets.

Simply white Is very Pretty and has a little less cram then white dove

Benjamin Moore White Dove is a beautiful soft white paint colour with a hint of grey making it a popular choice for trim, cabinets, walls and more. IMO iy looks awesome

Appreciate all the feedback. As a follow up, the countertop stone is called “Portinari“ and is supposedly a marble. It has swirls of brown and gray. Please note the cabinet door is just to show the White Dove...it‘s an old cabinet door and not being used in the reno. Thnx!

Have you seen what etches look like on marbles? Especially darker marbles? Big white splotches. That’s how marble behaves. Its a chemical reaction between an acid and a base. You can’t prevent it.

One glass of lemonade, orange juice or pickle juice and the marble is ruined. I would rethink your selection.
