The patio seems under the dining table seems temporary and too small. You'll need to work out a better one in plan view. You'll need to measure and draw a base plan (shows basic existing elements) for that. I'm showing a single groundcover, but you can add perennials and annuals in strategic places to spark it up. This is just the basics. The plants are not specific. Use what works best in your area. You wouldn't want the perimeter bed to be less than 6' depth (front to back.)
