Our home was built in the 60's. We have been gradually repainting each bedroom and ripping up the carpet. We are just spot-fixing the hardwood floors and painting the existing trim & walls. Unfortunately the bedroom we just finished had a heat diffuser that was all bent up so we threw that out and also the return air cover. Now we can't find ones in the correct sizes. The diffuser is 30 x 4 and return is 13 1/4 x 7 1/4. If we don't get ones that fit we will need to find trim that is exact to fill in the gaps. I am not even sure we can match that up. We don't want to get into ripping up all the trim and replacing it because that will rip up the freshly painted walls & we don't want to get into all of that. Does anyone know where we can find a diffuser and air return cover the correct sizes? That was a standard back in the day I assume so someone should I hope.
