The guy who sold us our new truck just got "2" Bengals. He said they were about $1000 each! My cat used to yowl......non-stop. I purchased live, growing, cat grass.....and he stopped. :0) Now he yowls if he wants to play...but ....not non-stop.

yup that's a Bengal cat. By the side of it's head it's a male. Unneutered males cost more, because the owner can make money on stud fees. Bengals are escape artist, and can easily leap over most fences. If someone can catch him, he's most definitely microchipped. I owned a Bengal for awhile. He didn't have what it takes to be a show cat, or stud, so he was affordable.

Schoolhouse, I believe he is getting hard of hearing but, thankfully, is not totally deaf. I did read somewhere that a high % of white cats are deaf. My cat sends quite alot of time outside when the weather is nice and he asks to go outside to do his business. If he loses his hearing, I worry that someone's dog might sneak up on him & hurt him.

I get Bengal and Savannah cats mixed up. Here is my neighbor's cat that they paid over thousand for,so always keep it on a leash when outside.
