I am interested in replacing my sliding patio door. After a fair amount of research, I've decided to steer clear of big box stores (if possible). My budget is limited to approximately $1k. With that said, many contractors have recommended Simonton as the preferred brand in that price range. I actually located a business a few miles from me that has a Simonton Pro Finish Contractor slider in stock for approximately $650. This is much cheaper than I expected my door to cost. While I was on the phone with this business, they said they also have an Inovo in stock, but the Inovo model was more expensive, and oddly, they did not recommend it over the Pro Finish. What are your thoughts on this? Should I go with the Pro Finish? And this is a standard-sized patio door, so no need for a custom build if I can avoid it. Thanks!
