I would start implementing some of the style from those inspirations into your bedroom.

Am feeling that you need a bit of colour, whether that be in your bed dressing, additional furniture pieces, lamp shades. Your rug is blending in a little. A thought could be to hang a coulorful wall hanging, or a material that you particularly like as a wall hanging, to help your bed not blend with the wall.

I don't think the rug is too small just pull it out another foot. I think the light is also fine. Do you have your bedding yet? I would get that first and use it to decide style of night tables etc

I would look at doing wood for the nightstands. You need a little warmth and something organic in the room or it's going to be too airy. Wouldn't use that rug under the bed; might use it in another room. If, however, you really want to use that rug in this room, use it beside rather than under the bed if you have room for a siting area beside your other furnishings in the room.

Your bedding choices will make a huge difference in the look of the room.

Are those doors painted a dark color or is that actually a wood finish on the doors? The contrast is really stark. Do you have an equally dark tall chest of drawers or wardrobe that you could put beside them?

You could add dark bedside tables with a lamp with a dark base (but medium white shade) and art over the headboard -- unless you would prefer a pair of dark wall hung swing arm lamps over your bed to lamps on your side tables.

The off-center French doors are no problem. Treat the whole wall with drapes from side-to side with pull control cords on both sides. The rug is too small...it’s better to have at least two feet of rug showing on the three sides of the bed. If the bed is king-size plus the big frame/surround, you need an 11’x14’ or 12’x15’ rug. You also need art, night stands with lamps, and some comfortable upholstered chairs or chaises. Do you have dressers or does a walk-in closet hold everything? Art will bring in some good color....I would hang several pieces: over the headboard for one, and in the area you may use for seating.

The rug size looks like it should work once you move it down towards the bare wall. You don't want nightstand partially sitting on the rug.

Nothing wrong with the position of your sliding doors one you get your furnishings installed. I don't like the color of the light coming from your current ceiling fixture

you could also put a large fiddle leaf fig tree in the corner. Or hang a plant from the ceiling and corner a chair there.
