you may have seen my other posts. I have a Toro 3650 about 15 years old ...has a plastic carb ...it started to leak Dealer really did not want to service it ....said it wasn't worth it .... I know u m carb is over $100 and they don't deal with the Chinese stuff. I bought a new one but since this thing does start up and run so well I'd really like to get it going and keep it as a backup... but not a leaky back up.

I bought a Chinese carb as the Briggs carb cost over $100. It got rid of the leak but surged. The Amazon seller sent me replacement no charge and I put it on today I also put on a new primer bulb today. Good news the new carb runs great no surging bad news every time I hit the primer gas comes pouring out of where the choke opens and closes when I slide the lever

I took it apart and look at all the seals etc. I looked at what I believe was the float and made sure the needle was installed properly. I have no idea where that is leaking from I'm guessing it's a different source than the original plastic carb.

I am not a mechanic so I'm posting these pictures ... if somebody could point me to areas of things to check or change I'm open to doing it. I haven't given up on the original plastic card either I just can't figure out what parts to order for it again it's out of production.

this thing just runs too well to give up on it so I'm hoping somebody can give me some ideas of things to try ....Lord knows I have enough time right now. hope you're all safe out there!
