I dont think there is enough room for that but the trash could go in the garage at least . Could you post some pics of the interior at this spot. BTW you really need some kind of protection for anyone at that door . Maybe a glass and blk metal awning. I think the extension at the front will be very costly to do and really not sure how it would look with that house. I guess you could get someone to draw up a design and see whay you think.

We got a quote for $29,000 to do the job. I'm not sure it would be much less to do an appropriately scaled portico. We would also open up the closet by the door to move that space wider.
