Happy Easter Everyone!

Happy Easter Everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day! This is my resurrection garden. I've been wanting to make one for awhile after seeing pictures of other people's resurrection gardens online. I used a shallow tray filled with potting soil, then put a small clay pot in the center for the cave and put soil on top of it. I put moss that was growing under the drainpipe on top and around the cave. (You can also use grass). I planted a small marigold on the side. (Any small flower would do good here, you can do violas, pansies, mini roses, or you can even do an indoor version with a miniature African violet). I made a path out of white rocks I collected from my garden, and the stone in front of the cave is also from my garden. The crosses are made of sticks collected from my garden (pomegranate cuttings) and the beams are bound together with dried sourgrass stems. I water it once every two days. You can add a little pond too if you like, or figurines, or try different flowers to really make it unique. It's a fun project to do to celebrate the true meaning of Easter, especially if you do it with little ones.
