See how they grow - update on Baltimore Balcony

Holy cow, did we have a violent storm today! There was crashing lightning and thunder like bombs were going off, launched from a black sky. Rain started coming through the wooden molding on the top of my balcony window! I'll have to have the maintenance guys caulk that. And wow, the winds were blowing stuff all over the place. There was actually a tornado watch until 6 p.m., too. I opened the balcony window a little bit and the vertical blinds were going wild, so I had to close it.

After 6 p.m., things quieted down to a beautiful day, so I went out onto the balcony to take some progress pics. The only hosta I'm missing is Raspberry Sundae, because my darn camera battery chose that moment, the last hosta to photograph, for its battery to die. I recharged it, so I'm ready for tomorrow. There is one NOID featured. It's not a very big hosta--if any hostafolks here can I.D. that hosta, I'd be very appreciative. Then I could order some replacement I.D.tags.

Wow, this one must really have sneaked some TNT into its pot this year!

Your Hosta look very happy. Hard to tell on the noid with the glare but I'm going to guess Golden Tiara.

looks like some are reaching towards the light.. you might have to turn the pots/bags every so often.. to get them to grow more upright ..

the NOID looks like it sunk in the media ... hard to tell from the pic though ... where are the petioles ... the leaf stems??? .. or thats just how it grows ...

what do you mean ones missing.. it went all dorothy on you.. and flew away in the storm.. or its not up yet???

Thanks, everyone. The last hosta to photograph is Raspberry Sundae, and it was at THAT point that my camera battery died. I hope to take a pic today to post here so you can see how beautiful it's growing. They are a consolation for my COVID isolation and the death of my beloved Maine Coon suddenly last week, a month shy of her 12th birthday. PM could not find anything wrong.

I have checked my list of the hostas which made it down to Baltimore and those still residing, until the COVID horror is over, with my friend Mimi in Long Island. Small hostas which are here and unaccounted for are Pure Heart, Country Mouse, and Cameo.

Yeah, the NOID is big enough now to I.D. as Cameo. Thanks, guys. Now I want to see if the other little NOIDs are Pure Heart and Country Mouse, or little offshoots which broke off other hostas during transplant to the fabric grow pots. There's about 2-3 pots of obviously small variety NOIDS. I also have one or two offshoots of Cracker Crumbs, but those I recognize.

ARGH! When I tried to take a pic of Raspberry Sundae yesterday, the battery was dead. Today, the memory card is full and I have no time before the last 2 Sabbath-like days of Passover start up to strip some pics off the card. So, hopefully Friday I can get those pics!
