Plant needs water. It can't get it due to roots not taking it up due to rot. I think your plant is a goner. I would take out of pot and remove soil and let the roots dry out but keep the roots covered with a paper towel. Show picture of the roots. Try to keep the plant warm.

You know that your plant Golden Hahnii is one of the harder ones to grow. I lost several myself.

Show us the roots! I have an especially fussy and pale Golden Hahnii that looks like this. Last year its roots rotted. Now it has roots and still looks like heck. Waiting for the warmer weather so I can water it more. It has been difficult to manage a couple of my plants through Winter with wet/dry cycles and watering at a good time, if at all.

Shana, Best of luck with your plant. Some times once they start to decline, it's almost unstoppable to get it to reverse. Hopefully it will produce new growth and survive but the existing leaves will never recover.

It happened to me several times. Plant starts to decline and nothing I do will bring it back. It finally dies after a year. Only with warmth and bright light was I able to bring one back.

Yes, sir. This one has been pale and small since purchase. It has produced a few new leaves, though it hardly has much green. It has not behaved normally since I got it. The nursery where I got it told me that they had had it for years, and it did nothing. Didn't know when I bought it! It was the last colorful Hahnii there. I have had it for near 3 years now. Maybe poor genes? Pale little mutant. It can go another Winter if it makes it. It may wind up in the dumpster if I keep getting heart ache from it.

I have seen photos of some pretty hopeless looking plants before and after, and one would never guess that they had done a round with root or especially crown rot. Cool.
