Hi All, we are in the midst of redoing our front living room, now deemed- parlor; however, we don't know if a console table should go under our current picture we just purchased. We have a bump out in the room, see in the below pictures. With that, we were going to add a tall geometric gold metal bookcase to match the width of the bumpout. Then I wanted a console table wider than the picture (picture is 40x40") and then place two lamps on the console to frame the picture. Below are picture of our room. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.
