Start cleaning. :)

You probably don't have more ticks. They aren't indoor pests and that one would have ridden in on your clothes or pet. The stuff you sprayed is a repellent anyway--it won't kill ticks.

If you think there may still be ticks, and you can get to a grocery store, google making a dry ice trap. They really do catch them and since you have a limited number of ticks, it seems like there's a good chance of getting them all. Also, you'll have dry ice left over to play with and who doesn't enjoy that?

Awesome idea! Never heard of dry ice trap in my search, but apparently it's good for bed bugs, ticks and any insects who search for hosts using carbon dioxide emissions. I doubt there are any ticks left in the house. Already started cleaning and I've never encountered a more persistent substance than peppermint oil. Carpet washing wasn't too hard, but for some reason, it took multiple passes of denatured alcohol to get it off a metal frame of the bed.
