I’m sure you have already realized that anything attached to the doors will intrude on the storage space of your shelves. The items on the shelves will need to be moved further back. For me, the other problem would be losing the flexibility of adjusting the shelves if I needed to raise or lower some of them to accommodate my “ always room for another dish” compulsion! Once the spice racks are installed the shelf configuration will change. Depending on your other storage, this might not be a problem for you.

All good points!

Check The Container Store for a large selection of spice racks. They post the sizes, so, while we have all this enforced free time, you can do a lot of measuring. You could always order three or four different solutions and return the ones that don’t work.

I have two of these. I love them. https://smile.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Pull-Spice-White-FG8020RDWHT/dp/B002I2OBIU/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=pull+down+spice+holder&qid=1587485260&sr=8-4

Label the four four shelves:

First one: insert a large turn table ( Ikea have them-Snudda lazy Susan ) and on this add all those smaller spice containers you buy at the store.

Second one: add another turntable and put on these the bought spices and seasonings .

Third one : buy the Ikea type containers that open from the top ( will show pic) and put in these like whole pepper seeds, cloves, stock cubes, salt, cinnamon sticks and the like.

The last one: devide a box or basket into four sections that will fit the area, and insert different soup packets in them. I did this recently and it’s the best thing I have done as it is so easy to pull out and see what I need.

I reuse jars for spices and seasonings, so my "spice cupboard" is full of different sized containers. I use risers of various sizes to that I can make more efficient use of the space, and see the different labels.

I love having my spices right in rows mounted on my cabinet door so I can see all my choices. If you google ‘cabinet door spice rack’ you will see lots of versions that will fit your cabinet. The problem I had was that my cabinet shelf interfered with the spice rack when I closed the door, but that can be remedied by cutting back the center shelf. You can still use various organizers in the interior for other stuff.
