I agree. It doesn't make sense at all. The good thing is that it doesn't show up on my desktop, only on my chromebook for some reason.

I've never seen it on my laptop, but it sounds like one more not-fun-thing here.

I saw it on one of my devices yesterday and asked "why"? Any and all answers are best answers.

I've never seen it yet on my computer. Thankfully.

I saw it when I searched sultry name to see when she was here last in case I had missed her and saw that “feature “ . I agree that does not fit in with our forum at least . Perhaps a newbie would see that and it may help them assuming the program actually flagged a correct answer . But it feels gross , and competitive. I’m really not sure why houzz is the way it is sometimes .

And now it’s back to doing the thing where the posts show up in reverse order (which I can live with), & if you “like“ something you have to refresh the page to see whether it took or not (drives me nuts!). Hopefully they will at least fix the like feature - I remember that happening before, and it eventually got sorted out.

Haven’t you folks heard of ‘Snowflakes’? One of them must have been hired, got promoted to manager and now must show that they are making the forum better. They have never heard of the KISS method… you know — KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID, so give them some slack and maybe, just maybe they will go away. I’m sure that basement is calling for them!!! It's gone away for me too, I think they did this a while back, but at the time I couldn't see it. I wonder if it's another thing that depends if one is on Houzz or Gardenweb? I still see the poster stats on another computer. I accidentally upset someone when they told me I was the top poster for the day. Since I couldn't see that, I thought they were being smarmy and implying I was hogging all the real estate or something. I thought it was a spam remark. So I agree this is not a competition. P.S. I think It us that click on "best answer", not Houzz. I prefer the "like" button.

It reminds me of the “Black Mirror” episode with the people obsessed with getting “likes”...I’m afraid we’re heading that way with social media. I liked that this forum wasn’t like that. ☹️

Omg perma .. I didn’t even make it 10 min into the first episode of that show. I can’t imagine what that episode was about ! Luckily i feel like our forum definitely is not like that at all .
