Wow, you house is almost all brick. A lovely color at that. I would struggle to suggest a color, because I don't think it will be an improvement. Sorry.

What ever paint was used on the back dormer is washing down on the brick. Maybe you can clean it off the brick and paint the dormer with a new paint meant for the outside.

Khakii or light tans look really good with brick. Think about painting the clapboards and all of the trim.

Prune the azaleas and other foundation plants. They are way too tall and are hiding your charming house. Maybe redo the planting of the slope so it isn't all ground cover.

Paint the front door an interesting color.

I think it would be a mistake to paint your brick. You have a very prominent roof line and the weight of the brick balances it well. If you paint, your house is going to look flat and top heavy. The house doesn't need shutters. It's well proportioned and looks good as is.

Agree with the comments above. Leave the beautiful brick as it is right now. There is no place to put shutters on your home and really, your home looks terrific. The landscaping needs work. Do not paint the brick IMO painted brick is the best way to devalue your house instantly. If you want to apint something paint the white siding it does not work with the brick, in fact this combo would look awesome on your house trim and all. The just get owork on the landsacping.

I love your inspiration pictures. But I agree with the all of the above advice of not painting the brick! I think the brick is very pretty with the white paint if you clean up the trim and repaint in a nice white and focus on the landscaping, paint the doors black, add awnings over the side and back doors and remove the storm door. When budget allows add a porch roof portico to the front of the house. Lovely house.

Some brick can benefit from paint, but yours is just NOT in that category.

I also think kat had a great point regarding the brick balancing with the dark roof.
