Why this weird shape . It just makes all choices difficult and I have no clue why. Maybe a floor plan of the whole basement might explain this .

If you use two ready-made cabinets for the angled vanity, only the angled counter would have to be custom-made. The cabinets’ sides meet at the angle, reinforced from behind the joint with a cut-to-fit vertical triangular piece of wood. The cabinets both have to be joined to the vertical piece and to the walls for stability. You can make it work or have a cabinet installer do it for you for a fee.

Thank you felizlady for the cabinet suggestion, that helps and good to know that potentially stock cabs could be used with the proper stability install. I would also welcome ideas on sink and mirror(s) placement, oh and lighting at vanity area if anyone has thoughts.

Still learning functionality of Houzz. Hope this update goes thru. To update, the reason for odd shape, the bathroom was actually smaller and we robbed from both the basement foyer (which was an octagon shape and the maintenance room which was odd also) to get a little more bathroom space and this is what we ended up with. My current dilema is over the vanity. The sink has to go on left side of the vanity (plumbing is in but vanity has not been built yet). Knowing that, I'm trying to figure out how I can put mirrors over the sink and over the right side without using full mirror wrapped on whole two walls. Then of course trying to put up side lighting (as opposed to top lighting to avoid shadows) and try to keep some sense of balance. (Oh yeah, trying to minimize hair loss too)
